Fred Bodel’s Camp

Built by German brothers in 1917, Fred Bodel’s Camp is one of the oldest surviving miner’s camps located on the site of the old settlement of Nettleton, the modern day Three Mile Flat. Fred’s camp consists of two small rooms: one for kitchen and dining and one for a bedroom and living space, both with wood-burning fireplaces. A breezeway separates the rooms, allowing cool air to flow through the camp.
